The 4th Rural Trauma Conference and Pre-Conference Workshop will be held at Bayalpata Provincial Hospital, Sanfebagar-07, Achham, on 8–9 May 2026. This important academic event is being organized by HAPSA Nepal, MOSD Sudurpashchim, and Bayalpata Provincial Hospital, in collaboration with national and international partners including Nepal Orthopedics Association, Nayaya Health Nepal, SIGN Fracture Care, Brown Emergency Medicine, and Nepal Med EV. The conference is designed to strengthen trauma and emergency care in rural and resource-limited settings by creating a platform for clinical learning, academic exchange, and professional collaboration. The pre-conference workshop will focus on eFAST, fracture ultrasound, and DVT ultrasound, providing participants with practical knowledge, hands-on ultrasound training, supervised sessions, and assessment-based certification. The main conference will feature distinguished national and international speakers with expertise in rural orthopedics, trauma surgery, emergency medicine, and point-of-care ultrasound. It will bring together orthopedic surgeons, general surgeons, emergency physicians, medical officers, and senior mid-level providers who are directly involved in trauma care. Through this conference, HAPSA Nepal and its partners aim to promote evidence-based practice, strengthen local clinical capacity, and improve trauma care systems for rural communities. The event reflects a shared commitment to delivering high-quality, timely, and life-saving care to patients in remote areas of Nepal.
